這間房子把光留給餐桌。

牆是灰石，窗簾是深的，客廳刻意壓暗。白天唯一進得來的光，從那片紗後面透過來。

餐桌是全屋最暖的一塊木頭。一盞長燈懸在上面，把人收攏進那個尺寸裡。

房子可以暗。只要你知道大家最後會在哪裡聚起來。

This house saves its light for the dining table.

Grey stone walls, deep curtains, a living room kept deliberately dark. The only daylight that gets in arrives through one sheer.

The table is the warmest timber in the house, and a single long lamp hangs over it, gathering people into that measurement.

A house is allowed to be dark, as long as you know where everyone ends up.
